Meet the Staff!
Lapin’s administrative and technical staff have over 50+ years of combined experience working on Macintosh computers and associated hardware.
Roger launched Lapin out of his home in the mid-1990s after noticing a lack of proper Mac support in the Chicagoland area. By the year 2000, Lapin’s new storefront had grown enough to become an anchor of the Evanston small business community and a destination for Mac users throughout the North Shore. In 2012 Lapin opened a second location in Old Town/Lincoln Park and is now bringing its unique brand of friendly, experienced, and ethical service to the core of Chicago. In his spare time Roger continues to work on cars in his fully outfitted garage workshop, as well as driving on race tracks, one of his very favorite places to be.
Prior to Lapin, Pete worked for Apple for 4+ years in multiple roles. He graduated from Columbia College with a BA in Sound Engineering. He also worked in the culinary world for over 15 years working his way into several different Chef positions. Outside of Lapin, Pete is busy raising a family, working diligently on a permaculture landscape, baking bread in his self-built wood-fired oven, and seeing as much live music as he can.
Outside of work Brian enjoys springboard and platform diving. He also recently got into photography, and enjoys finding new places around the city to hone his skills. If he’s not at the pool or out exploring all of what Chicago has to offer, you can find him at home catching up on the latest must-see TV!
Amanda’s technical curiosity compels her to take things apart and put them back together to find out how they work, making her an excellent Macintosh hardware technician. She enjoys solving difficult problems and completing complex challenges for our customers. Outside of work she enjoys camping and the outdoors, and when not outside enjoying nature she is an avid gamer.
