When requesting data-recovery services from Lapin, I agree:

There is a possibility that none of the requested data will be recovered, or that if some data is recovered, it may be corrupt or unusable.

To pay the $129 data recovery attempt fee regardless of the outcome of my recovery.

If ANY portion/percentage of requested files are recovered successfully (the files are intact and usable), I will pay the successful data recovery fee of $499.

The data recovery fees Lapin charges are separate from the normal repair procedure of my computer. If requested, additional repair costs will be included to repair the machine in question.

Attempting data recovery on a faulty hard drive MAY CAUSE FURTHER DAMAGE to the drive if the device is malfunctioning. Lapin can only do software-based recovery - there is a chance that working with a failing drive may REDUCE chances of recovering data later, if it is required. Mechanically damaged devices never fix themselves, but they do get worse.

If Lapin does not successfully recover your data, there are other options. A dedicated, low-level, clean-room equipped data recovery service may be able to resurrect your drive and bring your data back to life.
